In a groundbreaking collaboration between EDA Surf Art and Novant Health’s innovative design team, Healing Tides presents eight immersive water works by artist Sean Ruttkay. Known for his mastery of aquatic abstraction, Ruttkay pushes the boundaries of visual perception with his pioneering 3D-Water technique—a process that captures the kinetic surface of the sea in sculptural dimensionality.

Each of the eight 55 x 60-inch panels, encased in a sleek gunmetal drop frame, transforms the sterile clinical corridor into a luminous journey of calm. Fluid, minimal, and resolutely modern, these works emanate a quiet power, inviting the viewer into a meditative encounter with the ocean’s surface. “Water has an innate ability to reset the nervous system,” Ruttkay reflects. “In a place where healing is both urgent and intimate, I wanted these pieces to offer something elemental—a breath, a horizon, a moment of peace.”
